About.
Hi! La Faust is a nickname I was given during my childhood in the north of France. As a kid, I developed my drawing skills by sketching all things around me, and copying my favorite impressionists like Van Gogh.
Then I put aside my artistic dreams for almost 10 years, but a job experience in Sao Paulo marked a turning point in my life. I was so fascinated by the Brazilian art of living that I started to draw again and painted my first canvas there. Music was a source of inspiration for writing, colors and light an invitation to creation.
Back to France, I attended different ateliers in Paris: live model drawing, illustration, watercolor, clay sculpture, acrylic, oil, mosaic. Throughout the years, I also got used to go to Italy and Portugal to find inspiration. <3
I finally settled my region of origin in Lille, focusing on oil painting, and still inspired by the scenes of Brazilian daily life.
